COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Albright men's indoor track and field team took to the track on Friday afternoon competing in the Bow Tie Invitational hosted by Ursinus College.
John Villano took home first in high jump besting the seven-man field by clearing a height of 1.88m.

Track Events
Dante Zamichieli was in action during the 800m race and turned in a 5
th place performance out of 29 competitors. Zamichieli turned un a time of 2:04.31 to secure his top five finish.
Christian Cortes-Nunez competed in the 800m as well completing the race in 2:24.13.
Murphy McCabe competed in the 3000m and the 5000m race this evening. In the 3000m McCabe turned in time of 13.16.69 while finishing the 5000m race in 21:52.33.

Sam Saydowary and
John Villano all participated in the 200m dash. The times for each individual can be found below.

Albright featured
Emerson Deline,
Kiven Tah,
Andrew Myers and Zamichieli in the 4x400m relay. The relay team turned in a time of 3:46.58 competing in their first race as a relay team.
Field Events
Villano topped the field in the high jump clearing a height of 1.88m. Villano has been one of the best high jumpers in the MAC Conference and tonight proved once again why he ranks among the best. The second-place finisher reached at height of 1.83m.
Christian Jusino and
Michael O'Hanlon were in action during the weight throw and both recorded strong throws. Jusino finished in 6
th with a throw of 12.86m and O'Hanlon was just behind at 11.23m.
Jusino, O'Hanlon and
Dominick Magalhaes competed in the shot put all preforming well. Jusino threw a distance of 12.14m, O'Hanlon 11.79m and Magalhaes 10.35m.
Up Next:
The men's indoor track and field team will be off until the new year when the team will head to Lebanon Valley College for their next meet. The meet hosted by LVC will be held on Friday, January 12 throughout the day.
