GRANTHAM, Pa. – Today marked the second day of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships. This year's championships are being held on the campus of Messiah University.
DAY TWO RESULTS
Women's Results:
On Thursday evening,
Maizy Aikey ran in the 10000m race and finished 10
th overall. Aikey's time of 41:31.43 nearly landed her on the podium finishing behind the 8
th place finisher by under 30 seconds.
Men's Results:
Tyhee Pridgen brought his A-game to the track in the 400m. Pridgen earned a time of 49.29 in the prelims to advance to tomorrow's finals. The time was good for 4
th overall in the prelims out of 19 total participants.
Evan Eisenhardt ran in the 3000m steeplechase in the first MAC Championships of his collegiate career, Eisenhardt ran to a tune of 10:32.48 in the event.
Beyah Rembert Jr. ran in the 100m dash and finished with a time of 11.54.
Pridgen and Rembert Jr. both competed in the 200m with Pridgen leading the way finishing in 22.66 placing in 13
th overall. Rembert Jr. took home time of 23.28.
