WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Women's and men's track and field competed throughout the day on Saturday afternoon participating in the Monmouth Invitational. The Lions battled the cold and windy conditions resulting in solid times across the board. Additionally, most teams in today's field represented Division I and II institutions.
RESULTS
Women's Results:
Ava Ramlochan,
Yonique Reynolds,
Julia Parmelee and
Standey Sauveur competed in the 4x100 relay event and earned a time of 1:00.72.
In the 800m race
Aniya Davis,
Alyssa DeVita and Kaitlyn Ramirez all competed. Davis led with a time of 2:46.83, DeVita was second on the team with a time of 2:48.41 and Ramirez rounded out the event with a time of 3:15.94.
Parmelee, Sauveur and Ramlochan all took their shot in the long jump. Parmelee reached a distance of 3.99m, Sauveur 3.92m and Ramlochan 3.15m.
Men's Results:
Evan Eisenhardt ran in the 1500m race and finished with a time of 4:26.94.
In the 100-yard dash Albright was represented by
Tyhee Pridgen and
Beyah Rembert Jr. Pridgen earned a time of 11.69 and was followed closely by Rembert Jr. who finished in 11.70.
Reggie Hamlett and
Yasim Price both participated in the shot put. Hamlett led the duo with a throw of 10.40m and was followed by Price who reached a distance of 7.80m.
Rembert Jr. and
Darnell Turner both were in action during the 200m dash. Rembert Jr. finished in 23.68 and Turner in 25.55, respectively. For Rembert Jr. the time qualifies him for the MAC Championships later this spring.

Both teams will compete again on Friday, April 3 at the Millersville Metrics Meet. Competition will get underway at 1 p.m.
