Men’s Swimming Wraps Up Day Two of MAC Championships

Anthony Laite claimed sixth in the 200-yard freestyle for Albright’s second podium finisher in as many nights.

YORK, Pa. - The Albright college men's swimming team was back in the pool and were led by Anthony Laite who took home sixth in the 200-yard freestyle. 

 DAY 2 EVENING SESSION RESULTS

Laite turned in a solid preliminary time and used that to power him into the 200-yard freestyle finals. Laite would not be denied a podium finish placing sixth finishing the race in 1:47.13. 
Tonight's sixth place finish for Laite is the second podium finish for the Albright men's swimming team so far during the 2023 MAC Swimming Championships.

The relay team of Laite, Drew MacDonald, Pete Vanderwerf and Matthew Czubachowski narrowly missed the podium taking home 9th in the 400-yard IM. A mere two seconds separated the Hood College (8th place)  relay team and the Albright Lions.

The Albright College men's swimming team will get some rest and get ready for day three of the 2023 MAC swimming championships beginning at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.
