CHAMBERSBURG, PA. - The Albright College baseball team (0-3) was in action today (Mar. 1) against non-conference foe Wilson College (4-2) and dropped the road contest to the Phoenix 13-6.
Albright had the bats going early scoring four runs in the first inning. Reece Adam singled to left field followed by a stolen base to put him in scoring position with no outs. Tommy Lewamn delivered an RBI double, scoring Adam for the 1-0 lead. Lewman has a hit in all three games for the Lions this season.
Lewman started behind the plate and delivered, continuing to swing a hot bat. Lewman went 3-3 in the game starting his day with a first inning double, a single and a stolen base in the second concluded by his first career two run home run to left center field.
On the season Lewman is now 5-7 with three RBIs and nine total bases through the first three games of the season.
John O'Connor, Jack Gilmer, Ethan Karel and Eddie Meredith followed Lewman with four straight singles, plating three more runs in the process. Gilmer and Karel recorded RBI's on their respective hits.
Wilson College battled back putting together good at bats scoring six runs in the third. After the fifth inning Wilson College led 12-5.
Deklyn Marks singled up the middle and later came around to score on a fielder's choice, scoring the Lions sixth run. Marks now has a hit in three straight games to start the season.

The Lions will return home for a double header on Sunday (Mar. 5) against Muhlenberg College. Game one will get underway at 12 p.m. and game two will start roughly 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
