READING, Pa. - The Albright men's lacrosse team (2-5) was in action on Sunday afternoon and squared off against Ohio Wesleyan (3-1) for the first time in Albright men's lacrosse history. The Battling Bishops took control of the game early and ultimately won the game by a final of 23-7.

Ohio Wesleyan scored the first seven goals of today's game and led 7-1 after the first 15 minutes of play. Lucas Roselli got the Lions on the board late in the first period on an unassisted goal.

The Battling Bishops scored six more times in the second period to claim a 13-2 halftime lead. In a man-up situation Jack Burke forced a turnover, scooped up the ball and beat the keeper for his MAC Commonwealth leading 27th goal of the season.

Ethan Hendershot did all he could to keep the Lions in the game making 17 first half saves.

Lucas Roselli started off the second half scoring three straight goals for the Lions all unassisted. For the game Roselli finished with four goals in another strong offensive output for the Senior Attacker.

The Lions trailed 18-7 heading into the last 15 minutes and Ohio Wesleyan was able to control the rest of the game and ultimately winning the non-conference matchup 23-7.

Hendershot finished today's game with 24 saves just four shy of the men's lacrosse program record of 28.
