ABINGTON, PA. - The Albright Lions women's tennis team won three of their five singles matches today against PSU Abington on their way to a 5-4 Spring Season opening win.

Alex Pancu swept her match winning 8-0 in the number one singles match.

Michelle Timothy represented Albright in the singles two match and took down her competition, 8-4.

Macie Littleton was in action in the #4 singles and won her match  8-7 in a tiebreak. In the tiebreak Littleton took home the individual match winning the tiebreak 7-3.

For the doubles the Lions won two out of their matches on the way to the overall match victory.

Timothy and Pancu were paired up and won their doubles match handily, 8-3.

Isabella Tice and Macie Litteton won their doubles match by the same score of 8-3 over the competition from the PSU.

Next Friday the Albright women's tennis team will play their first home match of the 2023 Spring season against Rowan College of Gloucester. First serve is set for 2:30 p.m.
