FREDERICK, MD. - The Albright College men's tennis team (4-4, 2-3 MAC Commonwealth Spring Season) won their second match in row and second of the week beating Hood College (0-6, 0-5 MAC Commonwealth Spring Season) 7-2 on Saturday afternoon. With the win the Lions evened up their spring record at 4-4.
The Lions played in four matches today due to limited numbers for Hood College. Albright went 4-0 in doubles and singles play.
The most exciting match of the day was in the numbers one doubles match. Fox Bryan and Kade Friedrich won a thriller in a tiebreak 8-7. The match went the distance with the lion dou persevering in the end in the tiebreak 7-3 to win the match.
Arpit Gainder, Dylan Huha and Hugh Crawford all won their singles matches in straight sets completing the sweep for Albright.
