IJAMSVILLE, Md. - The Albright men's golf team opened the 2023 MAC Championships this afternoon at the PB DYE Golf Club. The men's golf team battled through pauses of action and subsequent restarts during today's round due to the inclement weather in the area.

The Albright men's golf team got the MAC Championships underway this afternoon and were led by Ben Egin's round of 77 (+5).

After day one Egin finds himself in a favorable spot sitting just seven strokes off the lead.

Finishing round one inside the top 20 was Sam Elsen and Evan Twyman. Elsen's round of 80 (+8) and Twyman's round of 81 (+9) gave the Lions a trio of teammates inside the top 20 at the end of day one.

Round two of the MAC Championships will get underway at PB DYE Golf Course at 11 a.m.
