READING, PA. - The Albright College softball team (3-25, 0-12 MAC Commonwealth) honored their senior Brooke Cherry-Flint (BK) in the middle of the doubleheader on Saturday afternoon against Lebanon Valley (27-5, 12-0) at home. The Dutchmen took both games of the double header this afternoon.
In the middle of today's game the Albright softball program took the time to honor its senior Brooke Cherry-Flint (BK) for her hard work and dedication to the Albright softball program.
GAME 1: L, 10-0
Lebanon Valley came out swinging in the first inning scoring four runs in the first inning. The strong first inning proved to be the difference in game one for the Dutchmen over the Lions.
Madison Lasko collected two more hits in game one, both singles. The first year catcher now has four multi hit games this season for Albright.
Mya Mrakich and Jadelyn Van Winkle each recorded a hit for Albright in game one.
GAME 2: L, 8-0
Lebanon Valley took a 5-0 lead after the third inning. The Dutchmen got a strong pitching performance from J. Walter tossed a complete game for Lebanon Valley.
Veronica Heckman broke up the no hitter from LVC by lacing a single back up the box. The junior outfielder is now hitting .243 on the season.
Kathryn Baptiste came on in relief in game two and struck out one batter in ⅔ of an inning pitched.

Albright will head on the road on Wednesday, April 26 squaring off against York College. The doubleheader will begin at 3:00 p.m. with game two to follow.
