READING, Pa. - The Albright College women's tennis team (3-4, 0-3 MAC Commonwealth Spring Season) was back in action on Saturday afternoon playing in their second MAC Commonwealth match of the week against Stevenson (3-3, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth Spring Season). The Lions fell to the Mustangs 6-3.
Michelle Timothy got the nod today in number one singles and handed her opponent with ease. Timothy dominated the first set and carried that momentum into the second set where Timothy closed out the match winning 6-1, 6-4.
Macie Littleton was in action during #4 singles and picked up a point for the Lions. Littleton won in straight sets taking the first set 6-3 and the second set 6-4.
Timothy was back in action in the number one doubles match alongside Megan Colaneri. The duo, playing for the first time this Spring are now 1-0 as a pair. Timothy and Colaneri controlled the match on their way to an 8-3 win.
