GALLOWAY, N.J. - The Albright field hockey team (2-2) fell on the road in non conference action on Wednesday afternoon to Stockton University (4-2) by a final score of 5-1.
The Ospreys of Stockton University scored in the opening frame and twice more in the second quarter to take a 3-0 lead into halftime.
Olivia Lorah looked to spark the Lion offense in the first half firing off three shots, one being on goal forcing the Osprey goaltender into action.
Chelsea Johnson opened the scoring in the third period with her third goal of the season. The goal came 10 minutes into the second half and was assisted by McKena Cox making it a 3-1 game.
The Ospreys tallied two more goals in the second half and ultimately would go on to win and protect home field.
Albright recorded 16 shots and 12 penalty corners in the game but were unable to convert the opportunities into goals. Stockton goalkeeper Hannah Ayari-Dias made eight saves in the game.
Lorah finished the game with seven shots and Johnson finished the game with four shots pacing the Albright attack.
