WILKES-BARRE, PA. – The Albright football team (0-3) went on the road on Saturday afternoon and fell to King's College (Pa.) (3-0) in a Middle Atlantic Conference matchup.
Todays game was the first on the road for Albright during conference play. The Monarchs got the best of the Lions this afternoon winning the game by a final score of 56-0.

The Monarchs started fast in today's game leading 21-0 at the end of the first quarter and stretching their lead to 35-0 at the break.
The Lions looked to get their offense going on the ground in the first half. The Lions rushed for 71 yards as a team in the opening 30 minutes.
Noble Thompson led the way on the ground for Albright rushing for 8.5 yards per carry on four attempts.
The Monarchs controlled the second half scoring 21 more points and ultimately winning the game over Albright 56-0.
King's College (Pa.) quarterback Russel Minor-Shaw threw for five touchdowns this afternoon pacing the Monarch attack.
Isaiah Shockley led the Lions rushing attack rushing for 41 yards. Thompson was just behind Shockley in the rushing yards gained department 41.
Defensively, Albright was led by
Javontae Wayman who totaled nine total tackles and one tackle for loss.
Samuel Moratori and Xaiver Battle each had seven total tackles for the Lions.
