HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Albright men's tennis team (0-1) got their 2023 fall schedule underway on Wednesday afternoon matching up with Penn State Harrisburg (2-0). The Nittany Lions won today's match over the Lions 1-8.
Albright was set to begin their season on Saturday, September 9 against McDaniel. Due to severe weather in the area, the match was forced into a postponement.
First year Sean Peppiatt played in his first career collegiate match slotted into the number four singles match for the Lions. Peppiatt won a three set thriller over the opposition. PPeppiatt took the first set 6-2, dropped the second set 1-6 and roared back in the third set tiebreak 11-9 to win the match.
Dylan Huha and Clay Lewandowski each took their matches into three sets, suffering narrow defeats in their respective matches.
