ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Albright men's indoor track and field team was back at it on Friday (Jan. 27) afternoon competing in the Muhlenberg College Invitational throughout the day.

Michael O'Hanlon turned in a strong throw in the shot put placing him in fifth out of 14 in the field. O'Hanlon's throw of 38-00.00 was well ahead of sixth and just behind the fourth-place throw and good enough to qualfy for the MAC Championships.
The 200m dash ended with multiple Lions near the top of the leaderboard.
Michael Maley took third in the race with a time of 25.24 and was followed by two other Lions.
Julian Lucas took fourth with a time of 25.28 and was followed closely by Beyah Rembert who finished in 25.44.
Christian Cortes ran to a new personal best in the 800m dash with a time of 2:22.12. The new best time was good for fourth overall in the field.
A trio of Lions took aim at the long jump and all finished in succession of each other.
Julian Lucas led with a distance of 17-00.75 good for 7
th overall.
Sam Saydowary was right behind Lucas reaching a distance of 16-09.25 and
Bryam Ramirez rounded out the trip reaching 16-06.00
Lucas was in action in the triple jump and turned in a personal best performance. Lucas's jump of 37-03.75 stood up well in a strong field rounding out a strong day for the first-year student athlete.

The indoor men's track and field team will head back to Alvernia next Saturday, February 3. The meet will begin in the morning and carry on throughout the day on Saturday.
