READING, Pa. – Field Hockey (5-10, 1-2 MAC Commonwealth) played their second straight game at home against Alvernia (9-5, 2-1 MAC Commonwealth). Following four quarters of play, the visiting Golden Wolves would go on to win by a score of 5-1.
Prior to the start of the game, the team took time to honor their seniors;
Amanda Smith,
Chelsea Johnson,
Aliza Langlois,
Olivia Lorah and
Olivia Cimino.
Aliza Langlois had a senior day to remember with a pair of shots and a goal scored in the 4
th quarter. The senior now has five goals through 14 games this season.
Also registering multiple shots in the game was
Olivia Lorah who recorded two of her own.
Seniors
Chelsea Johnson and
Amanda Smith each registered a shot and played all 60 minutes of their senior day.
Olivia Cimino also played the entire game and broke up a number of Alvernia scoring opportunities in the process.
Kelsey McTaggart started in goal and made seven saves.
