READING, Pa. – Women's Tennis (5-0) hosted Misericordia (2-1) on Wednesday afternoon in their last match of the fall season. Albright won 6-1 to complete the fall schedule without a loss at a perfect 5-0.
Albright's 2024 fall season was about as good of a season you can have. In addition to winning every match, the Lions outscored their opponents 31-3.
Alex Pancu wrapped up her fall campaign in style winning in straight sets today. Pancu's score line went 6-0, 6-1 in another dominant outing for the Lions #1.
Michelle Timothy went a perfect 4-0 in number two singles this fall season picking up another win this afternoon. Timothy won in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.
Allison Horick is in her first year as an Albright Lion and has yet to lose a match. Horick went 4-0 in the fall winning her fourth match this afternoon 6-1, 6-4.
Alaina Smith won in number five singles today in straight sets 6-1, 6-1. Smith went an impressive 4-1 overall in five matches this fall.
Valeria Sanchez won in straight sets this afternoon 6-0, 6-0. In Sanchez's two single match wins played in the fall, the Albright Lion only dropped two total sets.
Timothy and Smith dominated in number two doubles winning 6-2. Aponte and Sanchez won 6-2 in number three doubles to secure the single doubles team point for the Lions.
