READING, Pa. – The Albright Women's Basketball team (5-2) played their second of four straight at home against Gwynedd Mercy (4-7) on Saturday afternoon. Following four quarters of play, a consistent Lions offense and a shutdown second half from their defense allowed them to pull ahead for a 83-58 win.
 
This marks the 300^th win for coach Janice Luck and adds another accolade for the already winningest coach in program history. Coach Luck and the team are now well on their way to their fourth 10+ win season in five years. 
 
Mackenzie Dover scored a team high 13 points and was one of three Lions to end the night in double figures. Dover also dished out a team high six assists. 
 
Gigi Serrano hauled in a team high eight rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench and tied Chrisdin Jones with a team high two blocks. 
 
The Lions entered halftime with a 43-35 lead looking to keep up their momentum for the second half. The Lions would go on to play some of their best defense of the season and held the Griffins to only 23 points the entire second half. 
 
A 40-point second half by the Lions' offense was enough to secure the win via their first 80+ point performance this season.

Jacey Petruno had a strong night off the bench and converted both of her shots from beyond the arc to go along with a steal and a pair of rebounds.
