READING, Pa. – The Albright Men's Basketball team (3-3) played their second straight game at home against Lebanon Valley (5-1). Following a high offensive output from both teams, The Lions' offense powered them to a 95-88 win.
The team shot nearly 50% from beyond the arch and converted on a season high 14 three pointers.
Qadir Mitchell led all scorers with a career high 28 points off the bench on an 11 of 16 shooting performance which included three made threes.
Eric Chamberlain also turned in a stellar night with 24 points of his own to go along with three rebounds, five assists and five steals.
Joining chamberlain in recording five steals was
Dylin Borden who also converted on three of his five shots for an 11-point night with four assists.
Behind Mitchell and Chamberlain, the Lions jumped held a seven-point lead at halftime by a score of 51-44.
Phanique Dupree recorded a double double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in an all-around physical performance.
A 44-point second half by the Lions was enough to close out the Dutchmen by a score of 95-88 and hand them their first loss of the season.
