READING, Pa. – The Albright Men's Basketball team (4-3) played their third straight at home against FDU-Florham (5-3). Following a back on forth second half, the Lions would score 22 in overtime to win by a score of 91-83.
The Lions offense needed no time to settle in as the team hit their first six shots from beyond the arch.
Eric Chamberlain scored a game high 23 points which included a pair of three pointers to go along with a pair of blocks combined with four rebounds and four assists. Chamberlain also went a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line in overtime to help secure the win.
Phanique Dupree shot an efficient 7-11 and recorded seven rebounds and a team high four blocks in a great defensive display on the night.
The team benefited from a number of early three pointers from
Joey Callahan and
Isaac LaPierre to go into halftime with a 46-23 lead.
After leading by as much as 20, coach Ferry and company would need to have short memories and prepare for overtime with the score tied at 69-69.
Dylin Borden did just that and made a number of clutch plays in overtime which included shooting 5-5 at the free throw line after drawing a number of fouls.
The Lions' 22-point explosion in overtime was enough to lift them past the Devil's for their fourth win of the season.
