LANCASTER, Pa. – Men's indoor track and field officially got their indoor track and field season underway on Friday afternoon at the Diplomat Open on the campus of Franklin and Marshall College. Today's meet marks the first of two meets before the new year for the team.
RESULTS
Dante Zamichieli carried momentum into the indoor track season from his strong 2024 cross-country campaign. Zamichieli took 4
th in the 800m dash this afternoon out of 38 total runners in the field.
Zamichieli's time of 2:03.73 giving him the second fastest time of all MAC Commonwealth member institutions participants in the field. Additionally, Zamichieli competed in the mile run finishing better than half the field with a time of 4:45.94.
Dominick Magalhaes competed in the shot put this afternoon representing the Lions. Magalhaes best throw came on his 1
st and 3
rd throws of the afternoon reaching a distance of 35-01.00 feet.
Charles McClain earned a spot in the 60-meter hurdles with an impressive time of 9.07. In the finals, McClain took home 4th with a time of 9.20.
Greg Hammond finished better than half the field in the 200-meter race with a time of 24.52. The time was good for 25
th out of 54 total competitors.

The men's indoor track and field team will be right back in action tomorrow afternoon competing in the "Rust Buster" hosted by Alvernia. The meet is set to start at 10:00 a.m.
