LANCASTER, Pa. – Women's indoor track and field officially got their indoor track and field season underway on Friday afternoon at the Diplomat Open on the campus of Franklin and Marshall College. Today's meet marks the first of two meets before the new year for the team.
RESULTS
Maggie Williams was in action today competing in the shot put. Williams turned in a solid performance with a throw of 30-02.00 feet.
Eren Tighe took to the track competing in the 800-meter race. The Albright Lion finished in 1:08.50 which was good for 13
th.
Alyssa DeVita was strong in the 800m dash with a time of 2:37.53.
The Lions 4x400 team of
Standey Sauveur, Tighe, Williams and DeVita finished with a time of 4:50.64 in their first race as a quartet.

The women's indoor track and field team will be right back in action tomorrow afternoon competing in the "Rust Buster" hosted by Alvernia. The meet is set to start at 10:00 a.m.
