SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Albright women's lacrosse (1-6) team played in their second road game of the week on Saturday afternoon against Swarthmore College. The Garnet of Swarthmore won today's game 16-4 over the Lions.
Each Albright goal came a from a different Lion on the afternoon.
Katelyn Patrick,
Kayte Moist,
Cynthia Schneider and
Riley Basht all tallied all a goal. Moist's goal came on a free position shot while the other three came in the run of play.
Swarthmore came out strong during the first half taking a 12-2 lead into halftime. The Garent continued their momentum into the second half increasing their lead to ultimately win the game on their home turf.
Brianna Kung was credited with the assist on Basht's goal while also recording one ground ball in the game. Kung has eight total assists on the season recording an assist in five of the seven games played this season.
Kaila Clark recorded two ground balls and one caused turnover for the Lions defensively.
