CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Albright College women's lacrosse team (1-7) made their annual spring break trip to Clearwater, Florida squaring off against McDaniel (4-2) in a neutral site contest. The Green Terror of McDaniel won the game this morning by a final score of 17-7.
Kayte Moist scored four more goals this morning once again leading the way offensively for Albright. Moist now has 24 goals on the season scoring at least one goal in every game Moist has played in. Today's four goal performance gives the Lion attacker three such games this season scoring four or more goals.
McDaniel started the game scoring the game's first six goals. The Green Terror led 6-0 after the first quarter of play.
The Lions looked to get back in the game in the second quarter scoring two goals in the frame to McDaniels one.
Riley Basht and Moist were credited with goals for Albright in the quarter.
McDaniel found their stride in the second half scoring 10 goals over the final 30 minutes of play to win the game over Albright.
Lucy Moreland and
Olivia Ball each scored today while ball added an assist to her overall stat line.
Brianna Kung added one assist, ground ball and caused turnover in today's game.
Cynthia Schnieder and
Zoe Dicks each collected three ground balls for the Lions.
Courtney Futrick chipped in with one caused turnover and one ground ball.

Albright will return home from Florida and have 10 days off until their next game. The Lions will host St. Joseph's of Long Island on Saturday, March 23 starting at 1 p.m.
