Women’s Lacrosse Hosts Senior Day Against York

The Lions hosted their annual senior day game on Saturday afternoon hosting the York College Spartans. The visitors left with an 24-0 victory.

READING, Pa. – Women's lacrosse (7-8, 1-4 MAC Commonwealth) hosted the nationally York College Spartans (11-4, 4-1 MAC Commonwealth) on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans won the game 24-0.

Prior to the start of today's game, the women's lacrosse team took the time to honor their three graduating seniors. Anna Bien, Kaila Clark and Zoe Dicks will all graduate from Albright in May.

The three seniors have had career years under the guidance of the Lions coaching staff in head coach Nicole Blair and assistant coach Lauren China. Dicks and Bien have set career highs in points, goals and assists playing primarily as attackers while Clark has set new career highs in caused turnovers and ground balls.

York scored 15 first half goals and used their strong first half to their advantage to win today's game. The Spartans came into the game ranked 8th in country.

With two games to play in the regular season, the Lions will look to achieve their most wins in a season since 2023. With wins against Eastern and Stevenson, the Lions will win nine games for the first in four seasons.

The current win total for the Lions this season is seven, which matches the amount of wins combining the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Riley Basht and Dicks are closing in on career milestones. Basht is two points away from becoming the 12th player in program history to achieve 100 career points. Dicks sits four assists shy of setting the single season record for assists in a season.
