READING, Pa. – The Albright women's golf team won by 61 strokes over FDU-Florham to give Albright the dual match victory this afternoon at Golden Oaks Golf Club. Albright finished with a team score of 391 to FDU-Florhams team score of 452.
The Lions finally got a sunny day for golf hosting FDU-Florham at Golden Oaks Golf Club this afternoon. Albright shot the two lowest rounds of the day to beat FDU-Florham by a total of 61 strokes.
Ilaria Catania,
Braidan Wastler,
Callie Cooper and
Florissa Hakker were the Lions in action today that brought home the win.
The win is the first event win for the Lions since since the fall of 2022. In 2022, Albright won a tri-match beating Arcdia and Misericordia.
Ilaria Catania had the round of the afternoon shooting an 86. Catania shot 44 on front nine and 42 on the back nine to pace not only Albright but all nine golfers in action this afternoon.
Braidan Wastler shot a 91 which was good for second on Albright. Wastler's round was 11 strokes better than the best score today for FDU-Florham.

Callie Cooper and
Florissa Hakker bringing home the win for the Lions. Cooper shot a 102 while Hakker shot 112. The 102 round for Cooper tied the best score of the day for FDU-Florham.
