READING, Pa. - On Friday morning (Aug. 30), the Albright football team announced the captains for the 2024 season. Antonio Bargiel, Darien Osmun and Jarren Rutter will serve as the captains for the Albright football program during the 2024 season.
 
Antonio Bargiel is a senior full back from Woodland Park, N.J. and is entering his third season as a member of the Albright football program.
 
Darien Osmun is a sophomore linebacker from Sping Grove, Pa. and is entering his second season as a member of the Albright football program.
 
Jarren Rutter is a junior athlete from New Windsor, Md. and is entering his second season as a member of the Albright football program.

The trio of captains have represented the Albright football program and Albright College with the upmost respect since their arrival on campus Bargiel, Osmun and Rutter are well respected by their teammates, coaching staff and are leaders on and off the for the Lions.
 
Bargiel, Osmun and Rutter have played in 35 combined games for the Lions. Albright officially gets their season underway next Friday, September 6 at home vs Gallaudet. Kick-off is set for a 6:00 p.m. start time from Shirk Stadium.
