Men’s Tennis Tops Arcadia 4-3

Men’s Tennis improves to 2-1 beating a good Arcadia team 4-3 on Tuesday afternoon on the road.

GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Albright men's tennis team (2-1) picked up their second win of the fall season with a 4-3 win over Arcadia (1-2). Albright won four of the six singles matches to earn the hard-fought victory.

Albright picked up their second straight win over Arcadia beating them a season ago 8-1. Before last seasons win over the Knights, Albright had not beat Arcadia in the last 13 years.

Albright won four of the six singles matches overall and three of which were won in straight sets.

Xavier Vinson was featured in number two singles and went the distance in his match. Vinson won the first set 7-5 before dropping the second set 6-3. The first year Lion rebounded in the third and final set winning it 10-7 to secure the team point for Albright.

Dylan Huha was dominant in number four singles winning handily 6-2, 6-1. The win is the second singles win of the season for Huha.

Sean Peppiatt played in number five singles and was in complete control of his match winning it 6-2, 6-3.

Nikolai Damman played about as good as you can this afternoon winning his match without dropping a set. Damman won today 6-0, 6-0 in number six singles action.
