READING – Men's Soccer (4-1, 0-0) lost their first game of the year in a showdown with Immaculata (3-3, 0-0). This match saw both sides play each other in a physical manner which included clutch plays and missed opportunities from both sides. Ultimately, Immaculata would walk out with a 2-1 win over the Lions.
Christian Bowles scored his fifth goal of the season in the tail end of the 29
th minute to tie the game just minutes after Immaculata's first goal. After five games, the sophomore is currently tied for third in goals for the MAC Commonwealth.
Martin Ramsay looked to spark the offense registering a team high six shots in the process.
Albright's midfielders and defenders, led by
Luke Fanning, turned in one of their strongest performances of the season breaking up several additional shot opportunities.
The Mighty Macs would go on to score the game winning goal in the final minute of play.
Chris Denholm recorded three saves in net along with several diving efforts to break up additional shooting opportunities.
