READING, Pa. – Men's Soccer (5-1) ended their home stretch on a high note with a come from behind win against Notre Dame of Maryland (1-5).
After being shutout in the first half, three different Lions would score unanswered goals to propel the team to a 3-1 victory.
Martin Ramsay scored in the 51
st minute to finally break the seal for the Lions. Ramsay would also pick up an assist on the game winning goal just two minutes later.
Christian Bowles recorded the game winner for his sixth goal of the season in the 53
rd minute. Through six games, the sophomore is tied for second in goals scored in the MAC Commonwealth. Bowles also recorded a team high four shots.
Following Bowles' goal, the Lions never looked back and dominated possession for the remainder of the game.
John Villano would add insurance for the Lions via his fourth goal of the season in the 71
st minute.
Chris Denholm picked up his fourth win of the season in net and made six saves in the process. Through five games, the senior is averaging 1.00 GA/AVG for the season.
