MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Albright field hockey (2-5) played in their first road game in 11 days squaring off against Penn State Harrisburg (5-2) in non-conference action. Penn State Harrisburg protected home field and won today's game 2-1.
Today's game marked the second of two straight non-conference games for the Lions. Albright has five games remaining on their schedule before MAC Commonwealth play begins on October 12.
Penn State Harrisburg struck first in the opening 15 minutes. The lone goal in the first half came via the Nittany Lions giving themselves a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Aliza Langlois got the Lions back level with Penn State Harrisburg added her second goal of the week. Langlois third goal of the season came off an assist by
Olivia Cimino. The assist for Cimino marked the first of season for the Lion and the first of her career.
With just over five minutes left in regulation, Penn State Harrisburg found a goal to give them a 2-1 lead and ultimately the win over Albright.
Kelsey McTaggart played well in goal this afternoon making eight saves. The first-year goalie has 33 total saves this season for Albright.
Keliah Santiago and Olivia paced the offense with two shots each.
