READING, Pa – The Field Hockey team (0-2) played their first home game of the season against Arcadia (2-1). In a physical back and forth match, the Lions would ultimately lose in overtime by a score of 3-2.
Senior
Olivia Lorah was the star for the Lions on offense recording both points via a goal and assist.
Junior
Keliah Santiago scored a then go-ahead goal for the Lions in the 27
th minute off of Lorah's assist.
The strongest element for the Lions this afternoon was their stingy defense. Aracdia found themselves on attack via 13 penalty corners, but were ultimately turned away on 12 of the 13 attempts.
First-Year goalkeeper
Kelsey McTaggart recorded four saves in the effort.
Chelsea Johnson recorded a pair of shots on goal to tie Lorah and Stantiago for the team lead.
