FREDERICK, Md. – The women's basketball team (6-7, 0-3 MAC Commonwealth) went on the road for their third conference game of the season taking on Hood College (5-9, 1-2 MAC Commonwealth). The Blazers left their home gym with a 68-59 win.

Ciarra Gibbs put up 10 points marking her highest offensive output of the season for the first year Lion. The 10 points also marks the first time Gibbs has tallied double figures in her Albright career. Gibbs added five rebounds in an all-around solid effort.

Hood led by six at the break 30-24 in a low scoring affair through the first 30 minutes. The Lions climbed back into the game in the third quarter, scoring 20 points to Hood's 13 in the frame.
