YORK, Pa. – Men's basketball began their third week of conference play on Wednesday night on the road at York. The Spartans protected their home floor with a 65-53 victory. With the win, York improves to 12-5 overall and 5-0 in MAC Commonwealth play. Albright drops to 8-7 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

Phanique Dupree was named MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week for two dominating performances against Hood and Stevenson last week. The honor for Dupree is the first Player of the Week of Dupree's career.
The first half was back and forth with Albright trailing by just five at the break 33-28.
Dupree was a menace on the court once again this evening stringing together multiple impressive games in a row. Dupree picked up his 7
th double-double of the season, having 13 points and 11 rebounds. Defensively, Dupree continues to shine, recording five more blocks in tonight's game.
Eric Chamberlain led the team in scoring with 14 points while adding three rebounds and two steals.
The Spartans pulled away late to secure the win and remain perfect in MAC Commonwealth play.
Jeremiah Stanton and
Qadir Mitchell both finished with eight points in tonight's contest.
Dylin Borden chipped in with four points of his own going 1-2 from beyond the arc.
