READING, Pa. – Men's Soccer (5-3-4) played the later of back to backs against Stevenson (6-4-2) in their first home conference game of the year. 90 minutes of back-and-forth physical play would ultimately result in each team finding the back of the net once in a 1-1 tie.
Only a combined five shots were fired in the first half with neither team being able to break the seal or capitalize on their scoring opportunities.
Martin Ramsay would then drill a deep free kick in the 54
th minute of play for his fifth goal of the year to give the Lions a 1-0 lead. Ramsay's five goals already match his season total from last season.
Also creating scoring chances were

Daniel Lowman who each registered shots a long with setting up their teammates.
A late penalty kick in the early 81
st minute would allow the Mustangs to tie things up at 1-1.
Mike Lawry played a full 90 minutes in net while making a number of outstanding saves and clutch grabs to deny the high-powered Stevenson offense several golden scoring chances. The sophomore posts a GA/AVG of just over one in his first season as a starter.
With a draw tonight the Lions have now picked up a point or more in seven of their last nine games.
