GRANTHAM, Pa. – Volleyball (4-14, 1-3 MAC Commonwealth) jumped back into conference play on Tuesday night on the road at Messiah (12-8, 3-1 MAC Commonwealth). The Falcons protected home court by winning the match 3-1.
The two sides split the first two sets of the evening with Messiah winning the first and Albright the second. The Falcons would go on to win the third and fourth sets to win the match.
Neve Straff came into tonight's match needing seven kills to reach the 600 career kill milestone. Straff recorded exactly seven kills to hit the milestone. The junior Lion filled up the stat sheet in addition to the kills with 14 digs and one block assist.
Samantha Lipp led the way in digs recording 15 marking the 10
th time this season Lipp has tallied double digit digs in a match. Last match Lipp tallied her 200
th career dig at Albright. In the service game Lipp led with three aces.
Isabella Garay and
Paige Lipp also had double digit digs going for 14 and 12, respectively.
From her setter position,
Valouria James finished with 12 assists, one kill and one block assist.

Albright will return home on Thursday, October 16 hosting Neumann. The match will serve as the teams "Dig Pink" game and will begin at 7:00 p.m.
