READING, Pa. – Volleyball (4-15, 1-3 MAC Commonwealth) returned home following a road tri-match to take on Neumann (9-9, 1-1 Atlantic East). Following three sets of play, the visiting nights would leave with a sweep over the Lions via three narrow wins including one that came in overtime. 
 
Neve Straff finished with a team high 10 points via 10 kills in what would go on to be her eighth game scoring 10 or more points. 
 
After trailing 22-16 in set two, the Lions would go on a 7-2 run to bring the set down to the wire before Neumann would end it by a score of 25-23. 
 
Korrine Tillery would step up on the defensive front for the Lions and finished with a team high four assisted blocks and five kills to end the night with eight points. 
 
With set three also looking bleak for the Lions, the team would rally for a 6-2 run to bring themselves to within one (23-22). What then followed was a back-and-forth showdown between the two teams which even included the Lions taking a 28-27 lead before the Knights would secure a win 30-28. 
 
Rachel Etim finished second on the team with 9.5 points bringing her season total to 143.5 and brings her to within striking distance of surpassing 750 career points (742).
