CHESTER, Pa. – Men's soccer (5-6-4, 0-3-1 MAC Commonwealth) played their first of two straight road conference games Wednesday night against Widener (2-8-4, 1-1-2 MAC Commonwealth). Widener took tonight's game 4-0 over the Lions.
Widener jumped on Albright early in tonight's game, scoring in the second minute of play. The Pride would add another goal in the first 45 minutes to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
With under 13 minutes left in the contest Widener scored their third and fourth goals of the game to earn the conference win.
Mike Lawry earned the start in goal coming off an outstanding performance against Messiah. The sophomore goalie made 14 saves against Messiah to set a new career high. Tonight, Lawry made six saves giving him 20 saves just this week.
The Lions tallied four total shots tonight looking to solve the Widener defense.

Jaylen Bains all recorded one shot each with Bains shot being on goal.
