Women’s Golf Begins Two-Day Golden Oaks Shootout on Sunday

The women’s golf team played their first 18 of 36 holes on Sunday afternoon at the Golden Oaks Shootout.

FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Women's golf returned to the course for the first time since September 23 opening up the two-day Golden Oak Shootout on Sunday afternoon. The Lions sit in sixth heading into tomorrow.

RESULTS

Albright fared well overall today as three of the four golfers in the lineup recorded their season best round.

Ilaria Catania led the way with a round one score of 82. Catania birdied the par four second hole contributing to her best round of the 2025 fall season.

Braidan Wastler finished in the middle of the pack with a strong showing shooting a 92. The round is the lowest so far this season for Wastler.

Callie Cooper shot a 96 finishing better than three Division II golfers in the field from East Stroudsburg. Grace Rogers recorded a new season best score with a round of 114 giving Rogers three straight rounds that finished better than her last.

Albright will look to improve on their day one score during tomorrow's final round of the Golden Oaks Shootout. The round is set to begin at 9:30 a.m.
