NEWTOWN, Pa. – Federico Cobos Kallman has been named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth men's golfer of the Week. Cobos Kallman led the Lions to a victory at the Golden Oaks Shootout while being the only player in the field to finish the two days under par.
Cobos Kallman joins
Nontaphat Veeratecha as the two Lions to be named Golfer of the Week this season.
The Lions have played some of the best golf in program history so far in the 2025 fall season. The impressive play has seen Albright set the program record for lowest single day team score (291) and lowest two-day team score (593).
Cobos Kallman earned individual medalist honors at the Golden Oaks Shootout, leading Albright to the team title with back-to-back rounds under par.
The sophomore opened with a two-under 70—his best round of the fall—and followed with a one-under 71 for a 36-hole total of 141 (-3). He captured the tournament crown by six strokes over the runner-up, marking the first collegiate victory of his career.
Over the eight rounds played this fall, Cobos Kallman's scoring average is an impressive 74.0.
