READING, Pa. – Volleyball (4-11, 1-2 MAC Commonwealth) hosted their first conference match of the season on Wednesday night against the Widener Pride (10-9, 3-0 MAC Commonwealth). Widener took the match 3-0 over Albright.
Rachel Etim led the way on the offensive side of the ball and the defensive side of the ball. Etim had a team high eight kills and a team high 15 digs on the evening. The match marks the second time this season Etim has had double digit kills and digs in the same game.
Elon Ruley-Donadelle chipped in with seven kills, two block assists and one dig.
Samantha Lipp added four kills of her own while
Kariana Minaya added two kills of her own.
Lucia Fernandez had a nice evening registering eight assists and six digs.
Valouria James was second on the team in assists with four while also adding two block assists.

Albright will head to Washington D.C. to compete in the Gallaudet Tri-Match. The Lions will play Penn State Harrisburg at 2:00 p.m. and Gallaudet at 4:00 p.m.
