READING, Pa. – Women's tennis (3-2) concluded their fall season on Thursday afternoon picking up a 7-0 victory over Susquehanna (1-4). In the Lions three wins this fall season the team outscored their opponents 21-0.
Today, the Lions did not drop a single court let alone seeing none of the six courts got to three sets. Albright only dropped nine sets in total throughout the match.
Michelle Timothy (#1 singles) and
Nadia Margaritov (#4 singles) each won by the same scoreline. Timothy and Margaritov were in complete control of their matches winning 6-0, 6-0.
Elicia Aponte took care of business in #2 singles, taking the match 6-2, 6-2.
Allison Horick moves to 21-0 in her Albright career with a dominating 6-1, 6-0 win.
Alaina Smith and
Saba Soroush rounded out the singles action in #5 and #6 singles, respectively. Smith won 6-2, 6-0 in a strong showing while Soroush impressed winning 6-2, 6-1.
All three doubles matches went to the Lions. #1 doubles saw Timothy and Horick win 6-0, #2 doubles went the way of Aponte and Smith winning 6-3 and
Kaelyn Davis and
Daniela Diez won by the same scoreline of 6-3.
