READING, Pa. – Women's tennis (4-2) opened their spring 2026 season in dominating fashion downing Penn State Abington (1-5) 7-0 for their fourth overall win of the 2025-2026 season.
Throughout the match the Lions were in complete control from start to finish. Across the six singles matches and three doubles matches the Lions only dropped three total games.
In singles play
Nadia Margaritov,
Michelle Timothy,
Elicia Aponte,
Alaina Smith and
Daniela Diez all won without dropping a game, winning 6-0.
Kaelyn Davis made it six for six in singles winning 6-2, 6-0.
Timothy and Aponte teamed up in number one doubles winning handily 6-1.
Number two doubles featured Smith and
Allison Horick who won 6-0.
Margaritov and Diez wrapped up doubles playing as the number threes winning 6-0.
