SALISBURY, Md. – Women's tennis (4-3) wrapped up their two-match weekend to open the spring season facing Salisbury (3-1) on Sunday afternoon. Salisbury took the match 6-1.

The Lions opened their season with back-to-back matches yesterday and today. Albright opened the spring yesterday with a 7-0 victory over Penn State Abington.

Against the Nittany Lions Albright dropped only three games combining singles and doubles play.

Daniela Diez finished the weekend at 2-0 after winning a hard-fought match this afternoon. Diez got down early but slowly gained momentum to take number four singles in three sets.

For today's match Allison Horick battled in #4 singles. Horick went to a third set tiebreak where she ultimately fell. Up to this point Horick had yet to lose a match in her collegiate career winning 20 straight to start her career.
