FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Men's basketball (1-3) took to the court in back-to-back days squaring off against Farmingdale State (2-1) on Sunday afternoon. The Rams won on their home floor 81-72 over the Lions.
After the first 20 minutes of the game the Lions found themselves in front 38-35. Farmingdale State caught fire in the second half to win by nine.
Albright ended with four players in double figures. Farmingdale shot 23 free throws to Albright's nine, helping the Rams to a win.
Phanique Dupree scored a season and game high 21 points to go along with eight rebounds. The senior is closing in on the career block program record picking up one more block today. Dupree was named to the all-tournament team tallying 35 points, 15 rebounds, eight blocks and three assists across the two games played.
Qadir Mitchell made three threes on his way to 17 points. The sharpshooter has made at least three three-pointers in all four games this season.
Justin Turner tallied a season high of 14 points in 22 minutes of game action. Turner hit three threes to go with four rebounds.
Filling up the box score once more was
Jeremiah Stanton. He finished with 12 points, seven assists and three rebounds. In all four games this season Stanton has recorded at least 12 points and five assists.
