OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Volleyball (5-22, 1-6 MAC Commonwealth) played in their final match of the 2025 season on Wednesday evening on the road against Stevenson (15-12, 6-1 MAC Commonwealth). The Mustangs protected home court by winning the match 3-0.
Rachel Etim led the way offensively and defensively for the Lions. In her final career match, Etim tallied seven kills, five total blocks and three digs. Tonight's match stat line brings Etim's career totals to over 500 kills, 200 digs and 230 blocks.
Samantha Lipp recorded seven kills and 10 digs. The 2025 season marked the first for Lipp at Albright. The junior Lion finished her season with over 150 kills and nearly 300 digs.
Three total Lions recorded double digit dig efforts tonight with
Neve Straff and
Mackenzie David being the second and third. The duo both had 12 digs resulting in a new career high for David. Straff registered her sixth match this season with four or more service aces.
Paige Lipp had 11 assists and nine digs.
Lucia Fernandez added eight assists and three digs.
Stevenson won the first set 25-13 and carried the momentum into the second and third sets to win on their home court. The Mustangs will be the Commonwealth's two seed in the playoffs.
