COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Men's and women's track and field wrapped up their busy opening weekend of the 25-26 season at the Bow Tie Invitational hosted by Ursinus.
Maizy Aikey and
Edwin Moore both earned MAC qualifying standards in their respective events.
Maizy Aikey earned a MAC qualifying standard in the 5000m. Aikey took fifth of 13 total competitors in the race finishing with a time of 19:51.83.
Alyssa DeVita earned a MAC qualifying mark last evening in the 400m. Today, DeVita competed in the 800m race and narrowly missed an MAC standard with a time of 2:36.45. Overall, DeVita finished third in the race out of nine runners.
Ava Ramlochan turned in a personal best time in the 200m race finishing in 31.10.
Edwin Moore turned in a solid performance in the high jump today to earn a MAC qualifying standard. Moore cleared 1.75m to push past the threshold needed to advance the conference championships later this year.

Yasim Price and
Darian Tucker all fared well in the shot put. Scott led the Lion trio reaching a distance of 8.73m and was followed by Price with a throw of 7.66m and Tucker with a throw of 6.21m.
Tyhee Pridgen and
Ravone Edwards took their turn in the 400m turning in times of 55.31 and 59.84, respectively.
Beyah Rembert Jr. turned in back-to-back solid days in the 200m race. Rembert already earned a MAC qualifying standard in yesterday's meet. Today, Rembert Jr. improved on yesterday's time by .19 seconds recording a time of 23.47 today.
