Women’s Track and Field Competes at the Haverford Invitational

The Lions took to the track and field this afternoon competing in the Haverford Invitational.

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Women's track and field competed in their fifth event of the season on Saturday afternoon at the Haverford Invitational.

FULL MEET RESULTS

Alyssa DeVita nearly turned in a podium finishing performance in the 800m race. DeVita's time of 2:35.54 was good for 9^th place out of 29 total participants in the field.

Sauveur Standey competed in the 60m hurdles and ran to a tune of 12.62. Standey then took to the field events participating in the high jump clearing the bar at a height of 1.20m.

Maggie Williams finished better than half the field in the shot put. Williams took home 14^th out of 31 competitors with a throw of 9.92m

The Lions will head to Franklin & Marshall next weekend February 8 to compete in the Blue & White Invitational.
