READING, Pa. – The Albright Women's Lacrosse team (0-1) opened their season with a home game against Ursinus (1-0). Following four quarters of play, the visiting bears would leave with a 19-4 victory over the Lions.
This game marked the debut for
Nicole Blair as the team's head coach.
Three Lions would end the night on the scoreboard beginning with
Kayte Moist following a 46-point 2024 season with a goal in the ninth minute of play.
Sophomore
Olivia Ball made a number of plays on defense which included forcing a turnover and recovering a ground ball.
Zoe Dicks scored twice which included her finding the back of the net in the first minute of the second half for the team's second goal of the night. Dicks also registered a a team high four draw controls and forced a turnover.

Sarah Chernis who began her senior season with a point in the season opener.
