GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Women's lacrosse (4-6) ended their non-conference schedule on Saturday afternoon in a convincing 18-12 win over Gywnedd Mercy (2-10). The Lions fourth win of the year is twice as many wins as the team compiled all last season in head coaches

The Lions featured a balance attack on offense this afternoon, having five players score two or more goals in the contest.
Zoe Dicks led with a career high five goals. Dicks scored all five of her goals in the first half helping Albright to a 15-5 lead after the first 30 minutes of play. Dicks added an assist to set another career high for points in a game with six.
Albright was in control of the game for much of the contest. Heading into the fourth period, Albright held a 16-7 lead playing a good brand of lacrosse. Ultimately, Albright would go on to win comfortably in the end for their fourth win of the season heading into MAC Commonwealth play.
Kendall Smith was second on the team in goals scored with four. Smith has been a bright spot for the Lions this season on offense and is now up to 15 goals.
Riley Basht scored her first hat trick of the season today, scoring three goals. Basht also tallied an assist for a career high four points.
Lucy Moreland and
Kayte Moist both scored twice continuing their strong play. Moist added three assists for five total points and registered eight draw controls.
Sarah Chernis and
Olivia Ball rounded out the goals each scoring once each. Chernis tallied five more assists bringing her season total to 30 assists. Chernis is within striking distance of the single season assist record of 41. The Lions have seven more regular season games on their schedule.
Anna Bien was strong defensively, having four ground balls and four caused turnovers.
